Al Reem Island - Abu Dhabi: Exquisite Living

Al Reem Island a mega project from Tamouh Investments, Sorouh, and Al Reem to develop a metropolitan city for 350000 residents located approximately 600 meters away from Abu Dhabi’s northeastern coast. The development will be overseen by an independent third-party facilities management company known as Bayt Al Khidma, who will ensure all three Reem Island developers meet the high standards of construction. It is the first of its kind project in the region to offer a development at large and on a natural island. The land on this island will be available to an extent of 99 years of lease. The Design and Development director of Tamouh Investment Mr. Douglas C Small with his company is working on 60 percent of the total project which is 633 hectare in total. The rest of the 40 percent is to be developed by the Sorouh and Al Reem 20 percent each.

The project will be having three districts that include residential, commercial and central business districts. This Island will provide the amenities like, schools, healthcare facilities, golden beaches, green landscapes, shopping malls, recreational centers and world class infrastructure for commercial and business use.

The connectivity with nearest cities will also be focused in this project. The island is located 20 minutes from the Abu Dhabi International Airport. To develop the infrastructure there will be a link between Al Reem and Al Saadayat, as well as another with Al Salam Street, and most probably a third link as well.
