Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), dubbed as a ‘city within a city’, is a world's premier purpose-built high-technology park for IC design, systems assembly, manufacturing companies or its regional offices and warehousing.
The 7.2 million sq. m. hi-tech park was established by the Government of Dubai, pursuant to Law no. 16, of 2005, to develop a free zone of industries built around the production of information and communication technologies using semiconductors.

The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) has quoted in its website the annual lease rate of offices to AED 2300/ sqm in addition to a 15% service charge for the different facilities, ie. A/C systems, curtains, standard office carpet, wall paper, emergency lights, fire alarm system, UPS system back up, etc.
